Non-Seasonal Rates
Rates Include:
- Rates are based on 1 OR 2 adults and their unmarried children, under 18, living at home. You are allowed up to 4 adults per site MAX, no exceptions; however the extra 1 or 2 adults will be charged the overnight visitor fee per night/per person of $10 or $15 on holidays.
1 camping unit with 2 car maximum. - Refundable access gate pass: $10 per vehicle
- Tent Sites, all 9 sites at the lake, require a two-night minimum for June, July and August
- We do not have sewer hookups on any site in the campground; however, we do have a dump station. A Honey Wagon is available, for a fee, for stays of 14 days or more.
- Early Check-In or Late Check-Out: A $20 fee, per site if you have reserved multiple sites, is assessed for ALL early check-ins and ALL late check-outs and is subject to site availability. Please check with the office prior to your arrival. Late Check-Out permission and payment must be made in advance since your site may be reserved by someone else.
- GROUP DISCOUNTS: For groups reserving 10+ sites (ask about our rates for groups), discounts do not include holidays.

Charging of electric vehicles (EVs) is prohibited in the campground.

- All Visitors must register at the office before entrance into the campground according to STATE LAW.
- Visitor rates are not pro-rated.
- Day visiting hours: 9:30AM - 9:30PM.
- Visitors are not allowed to Check- In after 8PM.
- If you leave within 30 minutes, fee will be fully refunded upon exit.
- We reserve the right to limit the number of visitors.
- Visitors pets are NOT allowed
- Holiday weekend reservations must be paid in full at time at time of booking.

- Pets are prohibited from lake area sites and trailer rentals.
- A valid rabies certificate must be presented upon Check- In.
- Pets must be kept on a leash at all times.
- Please do not leave your pet unattended.
- Please clean up after your pet.
- Visitors' pets are prohibited.
- 30 day notice - Any reservation canceled at least 30 days prior to arrival date will receive a refund, minus a $25 per site cancellation fee.
- 10–29 day notice - prior to reservation arrival date will be entitled to a Chamberlain Lake Campground Camper’s Credit for a future stay in the current camping year only, minus a $25 per site cancellation fee.
- 9 days or less - Any cancellation made less than 9 days prior to reservation arrival date shall receive no refund or credit. There are no refunds or credits for early departures, late arrivals or no shows. Camping is an outdoor experience; therefore, we do not give refunds or credits for weather or natural conditions.
- Your canoe or row boat (with electric motor ONLY!) is welcome.
- We also rent boats and canoes.
- NO fishing license is required.
- All largemouth bass are catch and release.
- Earthworms only, any other live bait is prohibited.
- Do Not Move Firewood – Protect Our Trees
- Chamberlain Lake Campground prohibits the use out-of-state firewood. We have firewood available for purchase at the camp store.
- Connecticut state regulations prohibit the movement of firewood into or within the state if it comes from an area under federal or state quarantine for a regulated forest pest.
- The state’s regulations on the movement of firewood help prevent the introduction of invasive tree pests like spotted lanternfly and Asian longhorned beetle , which have the potential to devastate natural and agricultural resources in Connecticut and beyond. These non-native insects, and others of concern in CT (e.g., emerald ash borer), often infest new areas when people move firewood.
